Dear Friends and Family,

Courtney’s sister Gina gave us a wonderful picture of what God is doing in our lives right now. Rooting us. God knows the strong winds that blow and that only strong roots in Him will help us face those future gales. We have been discouraged about the sale of our house, as well as lots of other little “life stuff” these past months. But we trust, and obey and pray for deeper faith and eyes that look not at our circumstances but at our creator.

Please pray with us:
1) Sale of our home - it’s back on the market.
2) Patience, patience, patience
3) Diligence and wisdom with our finances.
4) That we continue to be filled with passion for the calling God has put before us and be able to communicate that well to people.

Please praise with us:
1) We have been surrounded by wonderful encouragers.
2) We are at 57.7% of our monthly support needs and at 75% of our outgoing cost needs.
3) We are scheduled to do our Pre-Field training in February and hope to be leaving in March 2006.
4) The Euro to Dollar conversion is going down. Which means our support will have greater buying power in Europe.
5) God is Good!

By the way, we are thankful for those of you who have taken advantage of our Missions matching grant opportunity. For every new dollar pledged during Oct, November and December we receive $3. And for every first time gift over 500 we receive .25 for every dollar given. Thanks for those of you who have jumped in.
