Well, I told a lot of people that when we passed 80% in our support raising that I would do a happy dance. Everything that has happened this week has helped us surpass 80% and we are now just under 90% (which is the point where we get to buy plane tickets).
So for all of you out there that like to see me make a fool of myself (sometimes without even trying), here it is:
If you would like to be a part of our support team, please see the link in the top left called “How to Give” or contact us and we would love to meet with you. Just email us at Courtney@Roesgarden.com.

Hey Courtney,
I don’t know if you remember me, but I am the MAF missionary who was at the eDOT strategic planning meetings in Germany in April ‘05 when you and several other new families were there. Anyway, I am in Chicago at Moody right now doing course redesign with your favorite eDOTers Rich, Doug, Larry, Dana, and Jan Rodger, as well as our other partners. Tonight, Jan and Rich told me about your Happy Dance…and I had to come see for myself. It’s brilliant! I am emailing it to my brother, because, believe it or not, he has almost the exact same happy dance–and he looks a lot like you but with red hair
I needed a good smile tonight, and you provided–not to mention smiling over the great news of your support level. Hooray!
Also, I might be crazy, but I am so sure that on the radio several weeks ago I heard a guy call in on a segment about unusual names, and that he said his name was Courtney Roes–I stopped in my tracks. Was that you?
Congrats to your whole family on getting to this support level, blessings on your move to Kandern, and I’ll be teaching my nephews 5 Fat Turkeys when I visit them next week–too cute!

Hey Kathy,
I do remember you well. I am glad I could bring a smile to everyone’s faces these past few days.
As far as being on the radio, that wasn’t me. Sorry.
Can’t wait to being working full time with eDOT and get to interact with you more.
- Courtney
PS - Is Tony still working at MAF? If so, say “Hi”.
